How to configure Antivirus software?

Configuration of Antivirus software which is installed on your system (server and clients) can be the reason why:

  • MedITEX speed is not satisfactory
  • loss in connection to datebase is happening

To avoid these problems, the Virus Scanner should be configured in a way that the following folders and files are excluded from being scanned:

 

<drivename>:\CRITEX
<drivename>:\CRITEX\MedITEX IVF\MedITEX IVF.exe
<drivename>:\CRITEX\MedITEX IVF\RDAD.exe
<drivename>:\CRITEX\MedITEX IVF\Terminplaner.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Firebird\Firebird_2_5\bin\fb_inet_server.exe

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All these steps need to be repeated in all clients.
