How to configure Antivirus software?

Configuration of Antivirus software which is installed on your system (server and clients) can be the reason why:
- MedITEX speed is not satisfactory
- loss in connection to datebase is happening
To avoid these problems, the Virus Scanner should be configured in a way that complete directory where MedITEX is installed ("drivename>:\CRITEX") is excluded from being scanned. Explicitly, the following should also be excluded:
- <drivename>:\CRITEX\MedITEX IVF\MedITEX IVF.exe
- <drivename>:\CRITEX\MedITEX IVF\RDAD.exe
- <drivename>:\CRITEX\MedITEX IVF\Terminplaner.exe
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Firebird\Firebird_2_5\bin\fb_inet_server.exe
All these steps need to be repeated in all clients. |
