In MedITEX, it is possible to work with PDF's.
But if you are using Microsoft Office 2007 or an older version, you may have problems to save your .doc files as pdf.
This feature was first introduced to Microsoft Office 2010.
You can download a plugin to add this feature to Microsoft Office 2007 <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=7" target="_blank">here</a>.
Unfortunately, Microsoft Office 2003 or older versions are not supported.
