New holidays can be added in the settings. For that you go System -> Settings -> General -> Holidays.

If you click on "New holiday" automatically will be created a new, blank line in the left list. These can now be edited.

Clicking in the Date field an indicator arrow appears. Use this to choose the date from a calendar.

You can also enter the date using the keyboard of your computer.

In the empty right field, the name or the reason of the holiday can be entered.
